Abundance

Good Day Everyone!

Everyone has something to say about abundance these days. So, do I.

Abundance is noticing what we do have and staying focused on what feels Well, Full, Lovely, Delightful, Divine, Beautiful, Lovely.

Abundance is not staying fixated on what is wrong or lacking.

Easy for me to say? Yes, it is easy for me to say, but not easy to do in practice. It takes my intention to stay rightly focused. Do I manage it 100% of the time. No, of course not. I keep having to "put the puppy back onto the paper" just like everyone else.

This is becoming the master of your spirit: applying it, focusing it, where you choose to look.

Like everyone else, I have challenges in my life. These challenges are for growing that spiritual muscle. I have to hook up my will and intention and then choose my focus and keep it there.

When we focus on something, we are creating more of it. So, if I am looking at unemployment statistics or health statistics or any other "lackful" data, then I am contributing to that pool of thought energy and creating more of it, if I dwell there.

What I use that data for is this: it doesn't feel good or uplifting, so I know that I am not aligned with Truth. Then I use it launch a new thought. What would make me feel Good or at least, better? I think about people's creativity. I think about their ability to create whatever they desire. I think about how I could create something new. I think about what would feel Good to me to be creating. Then I think about how to go about that. What would I need, what would that take? Then I am desiring it. I am wishing for it. My thoughts go out into the Big U and are answered.

Then, I watch as the evidence starts to come in that I am being answered. A book, a person, a conversation, a way opens up. And what do I do? I NOTICE and rejoice. Ah, Ha! Another piece of the puzzle has arrived. A stepping stone has lit up on the way to my dream. Come this way...and I do. I watch it unfold, because I am expecting it to unfold before me. I think that's what the scripture means when it says, "I go before you to make the crooked places straight." The "I" is my Spirit, my focus, my Energy.

So, you have your work cut out for you, do you not? Change your view. Look elsewhere. Look UP. And stay focused on what you do want.

I will keep thee in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Me.....All Good...Abundance

Stay focused!

Becoming A Selective Sifter of Information

Good Day Everyone,

Today is part 2 in becoming the master of your own reality. Today we're going to talk about becoming a selective sifter of all the information that comes your way.

How do you know what to pay attention to and what to let fall through the sifter. Good question and very good to master.

First of all, the most important thing is to be tuned in to your internal guidance system. This is otherwise experienced by you as your gut. When you are taking in information from any source, friend, family, CNN, the newspaper, your IGS will be monitoring it for its relevance to you. Specifically, it will be monitoring your focus for things that are for your GOOD. That is its job. It is constantly telling you by how you feel if what you are focused on is on the path for your GOOD.

This is because your IGS is your Godchip and is always in Well Being and living out the results of your desires - It is actually enjoying your dreams already. So there's your IGS skipity doo dahing in your dreams and fantasies, having a really GOOD time.

Now, let's say say your fantasy dream is that you want to be wealthy, prosperous, and financial stable. Your IGS is already experiencing the FEELING of that success, your very dream come true. You, however, are glued to the financial news on CNN watching the Dow plummet, you're reading everything you can about the banks failures and who's to blame. You FEEL your stomach turn sour, your neck is tight, a migraine is coming on. Those FEELINGS are your IGS NOT joining you in those thoughts. In other words, you are feeling the pain of that gap between your human mind focus/thoughts and your Godchip, which is in complete and utter fulfillment of your desire. That gap, the absence of GOOD (your Godchip), does not feel good to you.

Now, let's say you have that same desire for wealth, prosperity, and financial stability. You now focus yourself on stories of people that have achieved financial prosperity, their methods and strategies, or you simply imagine how wonderful it would feel to be there. The longer your focus is on the success of what you are desiring, the better you feel. New ideas join these thoughts, as you feel that success more and more. That you feel GOOD is telling you that you are closing that gap between your human mind and your Godchip who is living that success and its fulfillment.

Ok. Now it's every day life, you're going about your day and you have the radio on. The news comes on and it's about some doom story. What do you do? You change the channel. You find something that feels GOOD to you. Try on some up beat music and sing along or find a talk show that FEELS good to you, or better still, turn it off and CHOOSE some thought that raise your vibration.

Now let's say you've paid for a seminar and the lecturer goes off on a tangent describing to you all manner of traumatic failures, because these people just didn't follow his advice. What do you do? You have several choices: 1.) you can go to the bathroom and come back when he starts talking about positive stuff; 2.) you can tune out, write a letter to your sweetheart and tune back in when he gets to the GOOD stuff; 3.) you can listen and simultaneously edit saying things to yourself like, "This is only true for someone who places his authority in you, buddy, not me. I know about the Law of Attraction and I know that I control my vibration."

In absolutely everything in every minute of your day you have to be aware of how you are feeling. If someone in the break room is talking about how miserable he/she is or how sick someone is, or whatever misery is being hashed out, you get to LEAVE. You have the freedom, the right and the responsibility to change your mind and not be available for vibrations that do not FEEL GOOD to you.

It is very simple: garbage in yields garbage out. You don't have to voice anything to anybody; that is not your job. Your job is your vibration and your control is over your focus. Have some standard comments ready such as, "You know what, I just remembered, I have to make a call. If you'll excuse me." Or "I'll be back...." The point is you have made a choice FOR yourself, not against them, so you have no judgment about what they are talking about, all you know is, it's not for you.

My personal favorite, "Gotta Go!"

These are dramatic times that offer the perfect opportunity to become a very selective sifter of the data that comes in to you. These times are perfect for becoming the master of your focus and teaching yourself that you are, indeed, in complete control of how you FEEL. Master this, and you've pretty much mastered your life.

Next week we'll talk about what to focus on.

Remember, apply, apply, apply. It doesn't work if you don't use it.

Just Watch: Our Good Is At Play

Good Morning Everyone,

As the news on Wall Street and the banking situation appears to worsen, I want to tell you to suspend your fear, panic and judgment. I encourage you to just watch.

Step back. Breathe. Know, that all things work for our Good. It is Law.

In the meantime, refocus yourself on the tasks we have at hand. You're cooking dinner, right.
You've got a roof to mend. Check. You've got homework to do. Right. You've got to make love to your lover or spouse. Double check. You've got to pet the dog and feed the cat. Very good.

Stay your happiness and joyous course, and let the rest of it unwind, rewind, or unravel. There are greater laws at play here than just human mind twisting in the wind. Refrain from letting any of it have anything to do with you, your life, your focus, your joy, your progress in what you are seeking.

When Jesus spent 40 days and 40 night in the desert tempted by all manner of "evil", this is what he was experiencing. These are the appearances of all sorts of distractions to keep you off your own blessed course. Lead yourself not into temptation.

Refocus. Find the joy. Name the Good. And do that which is in front of you to do today. Our collective focus on forward, onward, and upward is the Energy Current that will lead us out and through to new and better.

All Is Well.

Politics, Racism, and Fear

Hello Everyone,

I know that I am an innocent. I just am, and frankly, glad of it. What has sort of jolted me out of my pink bubble is the myriad political ads that friends and family forward to me as the election draws closer. America, there is a giant elephant in our living room. It is fear. It takes the form of racism, sexism, lying, cheating, name-calling, rumor and innuendo. It's ugly and it does not become us.

Just so everyone gets a clear picture, I used to be a registered Republican, because to my mind, the principles of the Republican Party were closest to what I believed: in the absolute and sovereign power of the individual. I believe that with every fiber of my being, because I know Who We Really Are: God having a physical experience on earth. However, as human mind has so twisted the tenets of both parties, I confess that for awhile there I really couldn't tell which party was which anymore. I still can't.

So I shucked the labels and registered myself as Independent. That feels more like me, anyway. I'm free to choose from the myriad candidates and myriad ideas, and I vote where it feels correct. I loathe the labels of left, right, conservative, liberal, democrat, republican, middle of the road. Labels are for those who can't think independently. Labels are for lemmings.

Once someone says they are "liberal" or "democrat", someone stops listening altogether. Not another word of what they have to say is given any listen by the closed mind and locked heart of fear. And this is what I see happening in my inbox. Friends and family send these political missives; the latest one today was from a friend in Virginia. The e-mail was a compilation of the best bumper stickers - all of which were defaming Obama and the Democrats. As I read them, I realized that he is afraid. Only fear can make people attack another on such grounds.

The presidential race should be all about the issues; rather it is reduced to slurs around rumor and innuendo. Another friend forwarded to me an e-mail that was reportedly written by a soldier in Afghanistan recounting that Obama had snubbed the troops. This e-mail is not verifiable, nor does it trace back to his e-mail address for veracity. It just gets forwarded on, like it's Gospel truth...out of fear.

I trust that Americans can figure out for themselves what is True and not True; but the catch to this is that you have to come to the table with an open mind and an open heart. You have to come to the debate with the attitude, "Tell me who you are." You can't come to the table with fears like racism, prejudice and preconceived ideas that obscure you from ever hearing what they have to say, let alone giving yourself the opportunity to FEEL the truth or see their beauty.

Fear is irrational. It has no reason, it just lurks within a heart and obliterates the Light. Fear is why we are at war. Fear is why we fight with each other. Fear is why we are sick. Fear is why people pass on information that is without verifiable truth, because it supports your fear.

If you want a safer, better, and happier America, then each of us, every single one, had better take a good hard and honest look at who we are as individuals, first.

No one need know what goes on in that conversation between you and YOU. But we each had better have that conversation. Because it is we, the people, that make up this country. You, me, the John and Jane Doe's all across these 50 states. However much fear and hatred we harbor in our hearts, that's what we are going to experience as a country in this world.

It's time for some individual house keeping. I challenge you to have that conversation with yourself. Come to terms with the fact that you are afraid of those of different colors, different creeds, different ideas. Now, I challenge you to love them. I challenge you to listen with an open mind and open heart.

This is no airy fairy exercise, my friends. This country is only as good as the people who comprise it. If you love America, but clear hate certain Americans, how can this Nation stand? It won't. It will crumble from within; it won't take any foreign enemy to bury us.

This country is advanced citizenship. It takes clear hearts and clear minds to deal with serious problems. To be a citizen of America means you must defend the right of someone to voice their opinion about something you would spend your life trying to defeat. It means you will disagree with that person vehemently on the issue; but you will respect that person as an equal citizen and worthy being. These are not oxymorons. You can disagree with someone and still respect their right to their opinion. And if you respect their right to their opinion, you will not defame, slur or disrespect someone by making a political argument into a personal slur. That is spiritual immaturity. We are called to become spiritual adults.

It's time to grow up America. We can conduct healthy, spirited debates and actually learn from each other. Only fear closes our ears to what someone has to say. It costs us nothing to listen, not just with our minds, but also with our hearts. Times are changing, as they always do. It just feels so much better when you listen with your heart open, even to something you don't like. It's the idea you disagree with; the person is just like you: God having a physical adventure.

We have a duty as Americans to be very good stewards of democracy. Democracy is a place where everything, every idea, every people get to be here, much like the books in a library. The books in the library sit side by side offering their unique and individual thoughts for those who wish to read them. Those books don't hop off the shelf at night and duke it out. So it is in this wonderful place. We all get to be here. It takes advanced citizenship to fully grasp what this really means and how great a challenge this is to each of us every day of our lives.

We have nothing to fear, except fear; because fear will undermine us and crumble us from the inside out. Next time you see someone whose political views you think you hate, try this: take a deep breath. Acknowledge that he/she is a unique individual with unique things to say, just like you. Acknowledge that you might be afraid of some of the things they might offer. Now, listen to them with your full attention and respect. Breathe in again, breathe out. Now, realize that you are in no way diminished because they have that idea. You can thank them for sharing. You can chew over what they had to say. You can discard all of it; some of it; non of it. Nothing bad is going to happen just because you listened with an open mind and an open heart. The only time something bad can happen is when you fear it, then, my friend, you will attract it.

This Universe can supply every one's needs at the same time. There's enough for everyone. America is the place on Earth where we are either going to learn to do that in the physical; or we will go the way of all the other civilizations that came before us. We can trust in the Good in each of us. Speak to that. Listen to that.

Everyone is God at center. America is the great experiment. Can we learn to live with all those different Gods in the same place and know that each of our Good is always at play? I say we can. That is applied spirituality in action.

A New Year's Prayer: Let Your Light Shine in 2008

Happy New Year World!

I've always ushered in a new year with contemplation and prayer. It seems a sacred time to me. A time to reflect back on my "works" of the past year; not just the mental and physical projects that I undertook, but the progress of allowing my Soul to permeate and transform my mental and physical works. (This blog is about applied spirituality, after all.) So after the contemplation, there is my evaluation, and after the evaluation comes my "prayers" which are the desires of my heart for the New Year.

The prayers of course begin with my desires for myself, my increased communion with my Godchip, the ever increasing spiritualization of my human mind being translated and communicated in my thoughts, words, and deeds. After that comes my "prayer" - my desires and wishes for others: family, friends, the world.

I pray for my "enemies". I think of "enemies" as those with whom I disagree, of course, which automatically implies their disagreement with me. I particularly love this part, because it brings soothing to me. I remember as I pray for them that they are God, too. That they are Love at their core, as well. My human mind wriggles about wanting to find a "solution" or "resolution", but my Soul knows that's where the magic happens and miracles abound. "Watch," it whispers, "just watch."

My prayers for the New Year 2008 center more around the continuing awakening of the individual to Who They Really Are: God having a physical experience on planet Earth. I see signs of this awakening everywhere. As institutions fail (government, health care, education), individuals are forced to look to themselves for answers, solutions and healing. Awaiting each and every one is their own Godchip, "ising" away It's Love, guidance, peace and fulfillment.
This is the silver lining in every cloud. One's Godchip is always there, having never left, and ready, willing and delighting in being back on your team.

In psychology It is called self esteem or confidence. This is what it feels like to be connected to your Godchip, for It is Who You Really Are. Full and replete with everything you ever needed.
Your personal Godchip is your personal I AM, connected to all the wisdom, all the joy, all the love, because it is just that: fulfilled.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

My prayer this New Year is my continued desire for the unfoldment of our individual and collective awakening. And I include everyone in this prayer, absolutely everyone.

It's all Good. (And remember, Good is a noun)

Happiest of New Years to us All!

Good Beyond Measure

Christmas Eve

There's a hush that comes over the world on Christmas Eve. Have you ever noticed?

Walk out tonight. Take a break from the feasting, the gatherings, the merriment and step out to look up at the night sky. Tonight will be spectacular for two events are happening in the night sky: a full moon and Mars. You can see Mars when you're looking at the full moon. (see link: http://www.telescopes.net/doc/3000).

Mars is in Opposition tonight, which means it will appear large, reddish and can be seen with the naked eye. It will appear right next to the giant Full Moon, which illuminates the night without scorching us. These are magical nights where you can walk about without aid of flashlight, but everything is frosty and brilliant.

It's so interesting that Mars, the planet of war, is being so fully illuminated on the full moon.
Perhaps the Moon will illuminate us about war without scorching us, softly and gently and profoundly. Step out and see what happens.

We are so Good. We are so full of Good. (Remember, please that Good is a noun!)

Here are some links to illustrate just a very few of the abundant and overwhelming Good in our World.

When you're out there tonight soaking up the magic and mystery of Christmas Eve, imagine the Good; determine to only see the Good in 2008.

We can and do change the world every moment depending on our lens through which we see things.

Take that feeling of tonight with you into the year in to every single moment. Resolve to hang on to that feel of Well Being no matter what. This is how we change it to look like what we imagine it to be.

Evoltion 101

Good Morning Everyone,
I just noticed I've not blogged since Wednesday. Sigh. Life got in the way, me thinks.
Do you remember the fable of the Tortoise and the Hare? For those who don't know this one, it's
illustrated beautifully and simply at the following website:
http://us.penguingroup.com/static/packages/us/yreaders/aesop/index.html

The Moral, of course, is slow and steady wins the race.

I'm in the process of taking a brand new fork in the road. The learning curve on this path is vertical. They should show the tortoise climbing Mt. Everest. And along this tortoise's path are scary things - html tags!, keywords! copyrighting! and the big one...marketing! Another name for Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY! I'm mixing metaphors now, but Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz was in no stranger land than I am right now.

But what an adventure! We are never more alive when we have a FOCUS! I love learning something new. I love having a new focus. What I have to tell my human mind is this: slow down and enjoy the process here. There's fun in the details, in the nitty gritty of it. When I can even notice that I'm resisting the process and trying to blast through it, that's the first step in ease.

Now I sit down to the computer and think of it like blocks from the Lego Kit. We're building a castle or a moat, but it's in cyberspace. All these little meta tags and html do-hickeys are Lego blocks and isn't it fun to see what will happen next?

When I start fretting about the time it takes me to learn all this stuff and get it into play, I have to think, "What are you going on about? What could you be worry about now? Money? Timing?"
And of course my human mind is vigorously shaking her head, "Yep, you dope, what else?"

And that's when I laugh. I smile. I breathe. I recall the Life force that is carried on my breath and realize the infinite possibilities, the infinite timing, the perfection of all my good. My good is always there, always here. I am supported beyond measure.

Take this blog site. I had no idea how to get it registered. I simply asked a question on the blogspot board how-can-I? And do you know what? Over 300 people responded to me with an answer to HELP ME. Wow. I don't even know them. But I asked, and you betcha....IT WAS ANSWERED!

So, slow and steady. Breathe. And laugh at the lions and tigers and bears along the way. It's only your human mind setting up a trip wire. Connect, breathe and bring your God-chip in on the trip. It's a whole lot more fun and there's plenty of friends and support along the way. That's Applied Spirituality in action.
