Evolution of Consciousness

Hello Everyone,

I've been pondering consciousness of recent. Most specifically that America has reached a critical mass of some level that has enabled the first African-American to become our next president.

I'm fortunate to live in the country where the night sky is incredible. My nightly routine is just before bed, I go out on my deck and review my day, appreciate everything that has come my way that day and savor the feeling of contentment that all is right with the world. On one particular my thoughts then began to tick backwards to more recent history, appreciating people that had contributed to this moment: the Beatles, Timothy Leary, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Maslow, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther, Rachel Carson, Joel Goldsmith to name but a few.

Then my mind leaped back in time even further, fueled by the fact that I had just watched the HBO series about John Adams. My mind and heart swelled with the realization that our founding fathers were inspired by a higher consciousness, so much so that they created a government that the world had never seen before.

Then I began to realize that everyone that has ever come before us, has participated in the evolution of consciousness. My parents, your grandparents, all the way back to the first upright human who had a thought of himself.

Then I realized that there is a plan, albeit a loose plan, for bringing this planet and mankind into Light and Life, back into the Conscious Realization of God.

I wish you could have taken the journey with me to feel the perfection of Life. All is well, dear readers. We now take our steps in the journey of Consciousness. Let's reach for the stars.

Thanks for reading!

Christ Is A Consciousnes

Good Morning Everyone,

Recently I've been reading a really great book written by Depak Chopra, one of my heroes in life.
It's called, The Third Jesus, The Christ We Cannot Ignore. Bless him, for he has the eloquence and perspicacity to write the things I've espoused since I was a young girl.

Evidently Chopra, who was raised in India, was schooled in the Catholic Church by missionaries. He is open-minded and has the vantage point of blending different schools of thought: Buddhist teachings with ancient Ayurvedic Medicine and Christianity with Western Medicine. His mind looks for the Truth, which is usually found in the commonalities.

I've had the privilege of meeting Chopra twice, although I doubt he would remember me. But the first time was just after I had written my first book. I had written on my "knowing". I had no evidence that what I knew to be True was fact. In listening to the lecture, he began putting the science beneath my "knowing". I remember sitting in the audience with tears streaming down my face. Thank you, I thought. For the Western World is all about science and facts, dismissing "knowing" as heresy and airy fairy. This one man has done more for bridging the nonphysical world and the physical world as well as the spiritual world the religious world.

In his most recent book he takes the four gospels and isolates the words that are directly attributed to Jesus and talks about them in terms of not literal, but in higher consciousness.

As I was listening to the book, the same phenomenon occurred with me, the tears were streaming down my little cheeks. I have always felt Jesus as a guide, not a savior. I have always thought of him as sort of a "big brother". The kind that is infinitely compassionate and willing to take his little sister on his journey, or show her the Way.

In the 1990's I was doing a type of chiropractic called Network, created by Donny Epstein. It is a very esoteric type of work, encouraging the Life Force to move up through the spine and as It does, it reveals the beliefs and behavior patterns that block the Truth. During many of those "clear outs" as they are called, this figure, Jesus would come to me and assist in my clearings. He was always jovial and easy natured, laughing quickly and cajoling me in my seriousness. Once we were swinging from swings hung on the stars. I remember him pointing to this giant patch of light on Earth. "See there," he smiled at me, "that's your life." This is the way I have felt about Jesus. He has and does come to me in other ways, as well. To help me build Trust in the Universe, he has had me mentally stand on the brink of the Grand Canyon, backwards. He walks out into the air and tells me to fall backwards. This little exercise took about 6 months before I could do it mentally. When I had achieved that, he moved out from behind me, standing now in front of me, and told me to fall backwards again, into the arms of All That Is, or God. That one took another 6 months, until I could realize that I am totally loved and supported without Him intervening in any way.

I have been very concerned about Christianity. At one point in my studies in the 1990's I undertook reading European History in order to find out what went wrong. It's a dismal account of the history of the church and the men that would use religion as a means of power. I grew up in the Eastern Orthodox Church, "the original church", but missed all the human-mind dogma as the sermons and scriptures were recited in Serbian. This, I now realize, was the ultimate blessing.

When I began my personal investigation into my own spirituality, I "knew" it was about Love.
I was so confused about the human version that I saw demonstrated around me, vs. my own knowing. When I wanted to get married, my priest could not marry us because my husband-to-be was not Orthodox, and the Bishop would not give his consent. At 19 years old I challenged the priest, "Who do you work for? The Bishop or God?" Always I've had this deep, profound understanding that religion was not God; and it is certainly not spirituality.

This is the time. It is now. All things that are not grounded in Truth will wash away as they were built on sand. Things grounded in Universal Truth, or God, will stand. Jesus was not a Christian. Jesus was a man, who in his lifetime, awakened to his true identity and achieved the Christed consciousness. This is what he asked us to do then, and is ready, willing and able to help us do now, individually. This is not a group activity, it is personal, intimate, and uniquely yours.

Applied Spirituality is the term I have coined to point the way for the individual to do that personal, intimate journey back into Oneness for him or her self. Like Jesus, I can only be a guide, I am not the map; nor is Jesus.

At the core of each of us is that Godchip, that Godchip is in the Field of Consciousness - the highest Field of Consciousness. We contact that, and It guides our way perfectly. This is applied spirituality, living the Christed Consciousness in the physical body like Jesus did, and Buddha and Krishna and others. You are perfectly wired for this journey in consciousness.

Depak refers to the Gnostic Gospels in his book. I'm going to read those.

Boots On, America! New Game On!

Good Morning Everyone!

Wow! Wow! Wow! A new day has dawned in America, at last! These are amazing times we live in.
Last night I went to a neighbor's home to watch the election returns. I was stunned. When I arrived about 7:30 pm (PST), everything on television was a "projection". By 8:15 we were watching Senator McCain's gracious concession speech. I've never seen an election happen that fast.

But I don't want to talk about politics today; I want to tell you what happened in my heart last night. As the cameras panned the crowds in Times Square Station in New York and Grant Park in Chicago, what I saw were the myriad faces of America. There in tears, celebrating and cheering were every race, nationality, and religion. I don't remember seeing all Americans so happy since we landed on the moon. Tears were rolling down my face, as well.

Then I noticed an ease coming into my body. Some posture, some old longing and yearning was being fulfilled. Then I understood. This is what the Me of me has been holding the space for for over 40 years. That thing that I suppose I came in with, that all encompassing love and inclusion was being fulfilled in the physical. I still weep with joy, as I write this, feeling that Gladness in my heart.

I never lost hope in our America or our world or all our people. I have, I will admit, felt weary.

This election has reflected a consciousness shift in America. The time is now. Where as in the last election we had 48% of the popular vote, this time a firm 52%. In four years 4% of the people grew their consciousness. This election was not about the issues of economy, war and politics so much as it demonstrates an expansion of our consciousness. Our willingness and desire to grow and change; feel good about who we are as a people and include everyone. It is a movement into Oneness.

Hope, joy, and love have returned to America. This ushers in a new era of strength in Love. Hmm, where have we heard that before? Love includes, endures, hopes, and believes. It is not naive but wide awake. This might be a good time to read 1 Corinthians 13 which I will include here now.

1
1 If I speak in human and angelic tongues 2 but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.
2
And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
3
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4
3 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated,
5
it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
6
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
7
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8
4 Love never fails. If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.
9
For we know partially and we prophesy partially,
10
but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away.
11
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I put aside childish things.
12
At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.
13
5 So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Then is now. It has come.

President Elect Obama has called for our help. It is all hands on deck. So how can we help in our every day, ordinary lives?

Our assignment is simple: we return intolerance with tolerance. We soothe and include, rather than rub salt into old wounds and make others bad or wrong. We, turn the other cheek. We allow. We listen. We love. We include.

President Elect Obama in his victory speech last night said this:

“This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were.

“It can’t happen without you, without a new spirit of service, a new spirit of sacrifice.

“So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility, where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other."

So, what can you do right now? You can summon up that new spirit of patriotism which means you return intolerance and bigotry, which is thinly disguised fear, with tolerance and hopefully allowance. You listen respectfully to those who are scared of this change. You hear them. You return Love to them.
There are a lot of folks out there today who feel doom about this change, who are afraid. To them President Elect O'bama said this:

“And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices. I need your help. And I will be your president, too."

The time of divisiveness is over. We, too, have to change. We no longer call them "bigots" or "narrow-minded". There is no more name calling. There is only me listening to you, with my full attention and respect for your opinions and concerns. There is only me tell you, there is a place for everyone at this banquet.

Boots On! Time to live the consciousness we espouse. Time to be the change we want to see in the world. There is much work to do; and much adventure, surprise, and delight to be witnessed along the way.

Boots On, America! New Game On!

Thanks for reading!
