Rising Above the Opposites: Reaching Out To the Muslim World

Hello Everyone!

The big news is our courageous President Obama traveling to the Mideast in an effort to open new dialogues with the Muslim World.



As I watched this clip of what others around the world are hoping for and then learned what President Obama hopes to accomplish, I began to form and idea of what we can do to help everyone concerned be successful.

A new way of communicating not just between the Muslim world and the West, but also with Israel is obviously in the best interests of everyone concerned: Westerner, Israelis and Muslims, not to mention the entire Well Being of the world.

This is a classic case of the appearance of opposites: oxymorons, things, concepts, ideas, people, ideologies that seem not to be able to live in the same sentence, let alone the same world.

But that is precisely the point, it is the only the appearance of things, but it is not True.

There is a way, and the way is rising above the opposites and finding a New Solution or Solutions that have never been thought before, never been seen before. The way, of course, is through Inspiration and Intention.

What we can do, is what I call "Holding The Space". To do this, you have to take your human mind out of its normal bouncing from issue to issue. They want this, we want that, they won't do this, or we have to do that. You leave that human mind endless debate and litany alone.

You take your mind UP into a space of nothingness. The place of All Possibilites and Pure, Infinite Potential. And then, you allow that emptiness even though you might not know what those solutions are or what ways this could happen. You allow that in this Space it is so.

Then, you keep your human mind stayed right there - holding the space that a win/win, peaceful, abundant way with easy, genuine dialogue is happening, being formed out of the Pure Potential. We are asking for a way; and it is being answered.

We allow that this is so; and we watch for the unfoldment of these events, even expecting them.

This is where the "magic" and the "miracles" happen.

And while you're at it, include the extremists in this peaceful and expansive meeting of the mind. When you are holding the space of all possibilities, it is just that - all possibilities. Include everyone in this Space.

This is where minds change, hearts open, and what looked like an impossibility comes to pass.

We are instructed to "pray for our enemies". This is how you do just that. You include them in the highest and best possibilities for all, because they are included in God just as we are. There is no situation on Earth when taken above the opposites, that does not have a real world solution in the Infinite Possibilities and Pure Potential of Source.

This is how a real citizen participates, whether you are a Citizen of the United States, Pakistan, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, Gaza or Palestine. It costs nothing; but energetically creates a huge Energetic Field that is creating our new vision of a peaceful world, where everyone's wants and needs are met, and never at the expense of anyone else.

So, get on with it.Wherever you live, whoever you are, no matter your religious faith or politics, imagine a world where everyone gets what they want at the same time. Make this your prayer by Holding the Space of Infinite Possibilities.

A Letter to My Country

My Dear Fellow Americans,
It appears that our situation is dire. It appears that everything is out of control and flying apart. As humans we are afraid. Shall we take our wee bit of money and stuff it into our mattresses? Shall we purchase gold bouillon and hide it in the back yard? Where will I live? What shall I eat? What will happen next? Oh dear, oh dear the sky is falling.

And most certainly as humans we are looking for someone to blame. Is it the CEO? Is it the President? Maybe it is the Federal Reserve or the Department of the Treasury. By God, we’ll hunt them down and find them. We’ll make them…pay? They don’t begin to have enough money to pay or pay it back. No relief there.

But if you are fixed on finding someone to blame, then look no further than your mirror, for you and I, we are all co-creators of this extraordinary time in the history of our America. We each voted or didn’t vote; we each wrote our Congressmen and Senators or we did not voice our concerns. We each made choices every single step of the way in our personal lives and as citizens like grains of sand on the beach, one by one culminated into now. We each are culpable and creators in all of this. Blaming is not the way out nor is it the way through what we now face together. We are here. So, let us begin; but before we begin creating, let’s pause and be still.

The good news is that we are very powerful Creators, witness the myriad of messes that we are looking at which require our attention. Like the hurricanes of Ike and Katrina, the fires and the floods, we are looking at ruin, a mess, veritable rubble. I can tell you from first hand experience that we have not lost everything. We have all that matters; we still have Us.

When things fall so completely apart in the world, in life, we are challenged to see beyond the rubble, beyond the appearances of what is so to fathom out the meaning and the opportunity of this moment. Where to look and where to begin is the question.

First, be still. Things are not what they appear. This is our rebirth. This is the opportunity for the Renaissance of our America. The things that were not built in Truth or Love, or Goodness are washing away, because they no longer serve us or where we are heading and what we now intend for America. Now, we reach inside ourselves and find Us.

When we remember Who We Really Are, we, the people, will remember that we are Infinite Creators. We will remember that our safety and security were never in the world, but all along within each of us, individually. It even says so in our Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths, that all men are created equal. Endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among which are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We each and every single one of us are endowed at birth equally with our Godchip that is a direct, hard-wired line to the quantum field of all possibility – Source.

What we see with our human mind and eyes as rubble is what we have created out of our human consciousness separated from Source. If we are still and listen within to that still, small Voice, we will remember Who We Really Are; we will create anew, but this time from a place of safety and security based within, not without.

Imagine what we can and will create when we are not afraid in our human-minds, but when we are creating from our Divinity. This, America, is what we have been waiting for: our Awakening. Be Still and Listen. Our Good is at play.

One thing is certain: it is time for all hands on deck. The creative, new and Good solutions can come from anyone – including you, John and Jane Doe.

Citizens, not Consumers

Good Day All That Is!

A friend of mine asked the question, "When did we become consumers rather than citizens?"
I hadn't noticed, but in thinking about it, she is correct. Used to be we were referred to in the media as citizens. That's a powerful word. According to the Random House Dictionary of the English Language, Unabridged a

citizen is 1. a native or naturalized member of a state of nation who owes allegiance to its government and is entitled to its protection; 2. an inhabitant of a city or town. And citizenship is 1. the state of being vested with the rights, privileges and duties of a citizen; 2. the character of an individual viewed as a member of society; behavior in terms of the duties, obligations, and functions of a citizen.
Whereas a consumer is 1. one who or that which consumes. 2. one who uses a commodity or service; 3. an organism, usually an animal that feeds on plants or other animals.

Whew! Now that's a powerful shift from being someone who is of character with a sense of belonging to a community with rights, privileges and duties to someone who simply uses things up with no contribution or creativity.

We are what we say we are. Language matters, as all words have vibrations to them. You can feel the difference in the words used. Being referred to a consumers is tantamount to pigs at the trough. Worse, it doesn't have any of the qualities of contribution, creation and citizenship.

When did we stop being citizens? We are citizens of the places and communities we inhabit, of this country and of this world and even this Universe. When we are referred to as consumers we loose a sense of place, belonging and co-creation with all our fellows.

We probably stopped being citizens about the time there stopped being statesmen in our government.

We are profound beings, divine of origin. Check out the iceberg photo and imagine it turned upside down. Now the tip of the iceberg is on the bottom, as you in the body on earth, the expansive huge mass is now at the top reaching into space and eternity....that is who You Really Are. A giant being, eternal and infinite with a finite body on the ground. You are citizen of the Universe, of all of Heaven, of this great experiment called America and of the town you live in. We are connected and co-creators.

I call on the media to resume our status as citizens so that we might be reminded of our infinite potential, our vast ability to create and contribute, and our ability to respond to each other and ourselves.

Evoltion 101

Good Morning Everyone,
I just noticed I've not blogged since Wednesday. Sigh. Life got in the way, me thinks.
Do you remember the fable of the Tortoise and the Hare? For those who don't know this one, it's

The Moral, of course, is slow and steady wins the race.

I'm in the process of taking a brand new fork in the road. The learning curve on this path is vertical. They should show the tortoise climbing Mt. Everest. And along this tortoise's path are scary things - html tags!, keywords! copyrighting! and the big one...marketing! Another name for Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY! I'm mixing metaphors now, but Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz was in no stranger land than I am right now.

But what an adventure! We are never more alive when we have a FOCUS! I love learning something new. I love having a new focus. What I have to tell my human mind is this: slow down and enjoy the process here. There's fun in the details, in the nitty gritty of it. When I can even notice that I'm resisting the process and trying to blast through it, that's the first step in ease.

Now I sit down to the computer and think of it like blocks from the Lego Kit. We're building a castle or a moat, but it's in cyberspace. All these little meta tags and html do-hickeys are Lego blocks and isn't it fun to see what will happen next?

When I start fretting about the time it takes me to learn all this stuff and get it into play, I have to think, "What are you going on about? What could you be worry about now? Money? Timing?"
And of course my human mind is vigorously shaking her head, "Yep, you dope, what else?"

And that's when I laugh. I smile. I breathe. I recall the Life force that is carried on my breath and realize the infinite possibilities, the infinite timing, the perfection of all my good. My good is always there, always here. I am supported beyond measure.

Take this blog site. I had no idea how to get it registered. I simply asked a question on the blogspot board how-can-I? And do you know what? Over 300 people responded to me with an answer to HELP ME. Wow. I don't even know them. But I asked, and you betcha....IT WAS ANSWERED!

So, slow and steady. Breathe. And laugh at the lions and tigers and bears along the way. It's only your human mind setting up a trip wire. Connect, breathe and bring your God-chip in on the trip. It's a whole lot more fun and there's plenty of friends and support along the way. That's Applied Spirituality in action.
