Rising Above the Opposites: Reaching Out To the Muslim World

Hello Everyone!

The big news is our courageous President Obama traveling to the Mideast in an effort to open new dialogues with the Muslim World.

As I watched this clip of what others around the world are hoping for and then learned what President Obama hopes to accomplish, I began to form and idea of what we can do to help everyone concerned be successful.

A new way of communicating not just between the Muslim world and the West, but also with Israel is obviously in the best interests of everyone concerned: Westerner, Israelis and Muslims, not to mention the entire Well Being of the world.

This is a classic case of the appearance of opposites: oxymorons, things, concepts, ideas, people, ideologies that seem not to be able to live in the same sentence, let alone the same world.

But that is precisely the point, it is the only the appearance of things, but it is not True.

There is a way, and the way is rising above the opposites and finding a New Solution or Solutions that have never been thought before, never been seen before. The way, of course, is through Inspiration and Intention.

What we can do, is what I call "Holding The Space". To do this, you have to take your human mind out of its normal bouncing from issue to issue. They want this, we want that, they won't do this, or we have to do that. You leave that human mind endless debate and litany alone.

You take your mind UP into a space of nothingness. The place of All Possibilites and Pure, Infinite Potential. And then, you allow that emptiness even though you might not know what those solutions are or what ways this could happen. You allow that in this Space it is so.

Then, you keep your human mind stayed right there - holding the space that a win/win, peaceful, abundant way with easy, genuine dialogue is happening, being formed out of the Pure Potential. We are asking for a way; and it is being answered.

We allow that this is so; and we watch for the unfoldment of these events, even expecting them.

This is where the "magic" and the "miracles" happen.

And while you're at it, include the extremists in this peaceful and expansive meeting of the mind. When you are holding the space of all possibilities, it is just that - all possibilities. Include everyone in this Space.

This is where minds change, hearts open, and what looked like an impossibility comes to pass.

We are instructed to "pray for our enemies". This is how you do just that. You include them in the highest and best possibilities for all, because they are included in God just as we are. There is no situation on Earth when taken above the opposites, that does not have a real world solution in the Infinite Possibilities and Pure Potential of Source.

This is how a real citizen participates, whether you are a Citizen of the United States, Pakistan, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, Gaza or Palestine. It costs nothing; but energetically creates a huge Energetic Field that is creating our new vision of a peaceful world, where everyone's wants and needs are met, and never at the expense of anyone else.

So, get on with it.Wherever you live, whoever you are, no matter your religious faith or politics, imagine a world where everyone gets what they want at the same time. Make this your prayer by Holding the Space of Infinite Possibilities.

Black Cat (Part 2)

Hello All,

Sorry. I didn't mean to leave you hanging. Not that this is exactly and Edgar Allen Poe Tale, but still.

The Black Cat. It turns out that cat's name is POE...no kidding. He's a wild cat that sort of belongs to my neighbor. And it is Poe, as in Edgar Allen. No, I don't know why. But Poe evidently was never a "home" cat. He has always been skittery and shy of people. But I only learned this last night.

While stewing about Mr. Poe and what to "DO" about him, as I told you, I thought it was a riddle and had to be solved. So, I threw the I Ching. The I Ching gave me a very unusual hexagram. If you follow the I Ching, you will understand. I got the first hexagram, the Creative. Now you don't get that hexagram very often, I can tell you.

The Creative is the Life Force. It is virtually and "all systems go" hexagram. You're lined up with Self. You're Connected. You're in perfect balance. I was flabbergasted. I mean, you could have blown me over with a feather.

This is what I LOVE about the spiritual life. It is not seeing through human eyes with the human, conditioned mind. And that, folks, is the entire "trick". I think Jesus said something like "you're ways are not mine". It's like that.

I spent week, months, looking at this Black Cat as a "thing" that had no relationship to my life. Worrying about what to "DO" about it. Feeding it. I called the Friends of Cats. I Called the Humane Society. What to do, what to do. And he persisted, it persisted. And then I had a glimmer to see it another way. What if it is come to reflect back to me something of mySelf.

Ah ha! New Eyes. A New View. And of all things, the Creative. God. It. Me. All One. Nothing to DO!! Just a kind of friendly, hello, howdy do from the Universe. We're all ONE. Glad you figured out the Cosmic Greeting Card in the form of the Black Cat. Sending you a Love Cat. Nothing to do. Enjoy.

This morning folks, the Black Cat was not there. I got the message. I felt the Oneness. I understood. Oh what a tangent that human mind can take us on....and all along it was simply a God'OGram.

The Sky is Falling!!!

Good Day All!

There's a wondrous event happening in the wee hours of September 1. (see link) http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20070817/sc_space/aurigidmeteorshowerpeaksseptember1

Living here in the mountains, the night sky is what I think of as our greatest benefit. A few years back there was a meteor shower, and we all made a party of it inviting friends and family to come in the middle of the night to watch the show.

It started around 2 am amid cloudy skies, but we persevered, looking first North, then South or wherever the clouds were not. I lay on the ground bundled in a blanket sipping hot tea. I lost count of the shooting starts at 275. It was amazing. This is when I truly pity the folks that live in cities.

There is another event coming around 4am PST the Aurigid Meteor Shower. Providing my alarm clock works and I read the article correctly, I'll be up attempting to catch the first photo with my wee camera. Who knows?

They say these are 2000 years old. I wonder how they can know that. And I wonder why I am so in awe of the night sky. I can't explain it. I look out into that vastness and I can breathe deeply, like, when you go home. It feels like home, sort of.

It quickens my imagination, it tickles my sense of wonder, it restores my soul. I breathe.
I imagine that everything "out there" is within hearing range of my voice. I imagine I can hear "them".

The human voices are silent in the night. There is a hush and what remains is - well - the Infinite Invisible - IT's voice and the myriad voices that make up "IT." I can contemplate more clearly and easily; I can have a new thought; I can solve something from this world; I can dream into life a new dream. The night sky inspires this in me.

The night sky is where physics and God join and are one. The explosion of a star, the creation of a new universe, the birth of a dream, the voices of every one who ever was and every one who ever will be are available to "hear". It's magical, it's science, it's Real and mostly it feels so good.

If you can, watch the skies and dream your own dreams and feel the support we have from All that Is. We are loved beyond measure; and they're putting on a show just for us.

Only ONE

Good Day All!

I understand now what happened when Adam and Eve ate the apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and why that was the "fall".

As long as they were living in the "garden of eden" they were being nourished spiritually. They were fully and completely connected to Who They Really Were. They were at One with It - God.
They knew nothing else except Well Being. There was no other "god". There was only good.

The fall was the beginning of beliving in duality, that there is something other than God, good.
It was the beginning of the belief in two things, good and evil. It was the descent out of God, good consciousness into human consciousness of something "other" than good, God.

Now we are attempting our evolution back into Light and Life. The journey is one of consciousness, not human mind.

Lost? How in the world? What is consciousness? Where do I start?

Consciousness is your TrueSelf, your GodSelf, your Inner Being. It never yells at you. It never shouts, it whispers and you FEEL it. You try a thought on and feel the content of it's Godness, goodness. If it feels good, it's from your Self. If it feels even a little bit bad, it's your human thought. We use the mind as an avenue of awareness of consciousness, the mind is not for discernment, but for carrying out the impulse of God, good consciousness.

It's not done much these days, for these are the days of the tail wagging the dog. The human mind with its body of beliefs in fear, lack and limitation are 99.9% of what we see and experience. The closest we come are those moments when we allow our hearts to lead and we step out of the human mind box and do something "irrational" like love, enjoy, forgive, attempt to see past the appearance of "evil".

Evil is nothing more than the lack of God, good consciousness. It is a state of beingness like Christ consciousness. Christ, by the way is not a person, but rather a state of consciousness that is only in Well Being, at One with It.

Jesus is someone who remembered who he really was and achieved the Christed consciousness. He never said, "worship me". He said, "Follow me". He laid the template for the movement of yours and my consciousness back into Oneness. There is only God, nothing else.

I'll stop here for today. This is BIG. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to chew on this every moment of the day and allow It, your God-chip, to show you the way.

Closing the Gap

Good Morning Everyone!

It looks like some moisture might be headed our way, which would be a wonderful thing here in the Cuyamaca Mountains. There's a system up here: rain first then dry Santa Ana winds to take it all away.

I had a most magical day yesterday interviewing applicants to Cornell University. As a member of a volunteer committee, we meet up with these hopefuls and try to put a human face (humane, too) on the application process. We have absolutely no influence on the admissions process, but are there to demystify the school for them. Kind of like an eyewitness reporter. For the last two years I had no interviews, this year they sent me four.

Driving home last night from the beach where I had met with two, I was ebullient. They are awake and shining and wonderful. What I mean is that in spite of all the years of moulding and shaping they are still unique and shimmering with their True Selves. But more importantly they are finding a way to shape careers out of their passions.

One of them brought a resume! I don't think I even had a resume at 18. And why would one need a resume at 18?

In short order, though, he relaxed and shoved his folio under his seat. With a very few questions from me, he commenced telling me about the poetry that he loves to write not to mention how much he loves playing baseball! Have you ever noticed how the light in some one's eyes changes and becomes more focused and brilliant when they are talking about what they LOVE? Bulls eye. In the Zone. Connected to Self. Spirit Applied. His proposed major? English!

The next was a young lady. Her proposed major is philosophy. Her first explanation of that choice was that it was "a good base for pre-law". The PC answer. The answer that is probably on her resume. But as we talked, she disclosed that her passion is theatre, dance and singing. That's when she lit up and came into focus, talking about her band, the play they are rehearsing....and Salsa! The choice for a major in philosophy? Brilliant. She was twinkling.

I was encouraged because the choices of career majors were not the antithesis of what they loved, but chosen because they enhanced what they loved. Seems a far cry from how we did it all those many years ago. You loved art, but you became a nurse which was a "real" career. Or we became a podiatrist when we truly loved history and antiques. These kids aren't so ready to give up their joy for a "real job". In fact they are even believing that they could make a good career out of their passions. Wow! The gap between human mind limited thinking and the divine mind is closing!

How is this applied spirituality? How is this meaningful?

It seems somewhere in the past 40 years the idea of joy has becoming important. The idea of suffering and sacrificing is loosing it's sway. Thank goodness. For how can anyone give from an empty basket? How can you be happy and joyful and drip that into the world when you're pretty cranky about doing a job that wasn't you passion in the beginning, but a simply a good job.

The logical, linear mind has difficulty with this concept. What I think of as human mind. But the divine mind, the soul of each of us, is a joyful thing. It loves loving, it loves goodness, it loves play, it loves all things we define as good (God). So when we feel good, it is good for us. When we feel badly, our True Self has left us to moulder on our own, not having any part in that, because our human thought says we "should" or "ought."

When we "come to our senses" - feeling good again, our Soul is vibrating at Yippee frequency. We know we are on the right path, our path because, by crakie, it feels so darn good. So right.

I'm reading a book right now called the Biology of Transcendence, by Joseph Chilton Pearce. I want to meet this man. He's been studying, what I think of as applied spirituality, all his life. I think he must be in his 80's now. What a pioneer, eh?
But what he describes is the actual physiology of God in man's physicality. Did you know there's a science called neurocardiology? Yep. There are neurons in the HEART!!

Well, gee. I'm not surprised. Why else would we touch our hearts when we just simply KNOW the Truth. Feel it so deeply.

What excites me so, is that the gap between God and Science is closing, too. And guess what, you heard it here first - they will prove to be one in the same. Guess our concept of God will have to expand as will our concept of Science.

Isn't is grand to be living in these times? Either/Or thinking (human mind) is on the wane, for AND thinking, inclusive is on the rise!

Thanks for reading...k
