Healthcare: A Right or Not

Good Day Everyone,

I so applaud us as a nation for undertaking the great debate on health care. Not because I have a vested interested either way, but because it opens up such a can of worms of beliefs that we must deal with first before we can come to any consensus of what to do.

I'm thinking that at the heart of the debate of the forms of health care is the issue of whether or not health care is a right or a privilege in America. This is really something we've never talked about. We hash about the flag, and voting, and speech - but this is something we've never asked ourselves. And probably that's the first thing we should tackle before we attempt any reform in the health care system.

As you can probably see, if we decide that it's a right, then it becomes something that we have to protect for each and every individual. Right away people divide into liberal and conservative thinking lines: more government or less government and the labeling starts to fly. As we all know, once labels start being bantied about, people stop listening to the idea if it happens to be coming from a source other than their particular political persuasion. From that point on it devolves into name calling and it gets ugly, nothing gets done, and all we do is squabble.

If on the other hand we decide it's a privilege, then that doesn't feel right either, because it cuts against the core of Who We Really Are - love. But alas, love is not considered valid in a political debate. What to do? What to do?

Complete and perfect health is our inheritance, our birthright just as freedom and joy are. The conundrum comes when we look out into the world and see so much of just the opposite. We know in our core beingness that everyone deserves complete and perfect health just as they are endowed with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our mistake is thinking that we can legislate such a thing, when it is totally a personal state of beingness that brings this to manifestation or not.

Out of the human-mind's belief in separation from Source we have created a gigantic mindset of health, health care methods, medicine, hospitals, doctors, medicines, pharmacy, herbs, chiropractic, accupuncture, etc. to support the body, to create health, to restore well being.

What has been forgotten is that the state of wellness is our natural state of being if we are aligned with It; that is to say if we have closed the gap of separation between our human mind's belief and our Godself knowing of only Well Being. When any individual closes this gap, complete and perfect health is made manifest in that moment. Modern medicine calls this a miracle, but in Truth access to this is equally available to each and every person.

So, complete and perfect health is our birthright, just as all the other freedoms delineated in the Declaration of Independence. Realization of them is an inside job, applying our spirituality and creating deliberately the life experience we choose. The realization of heaven on earth is all about a state of being, not legislation.

Is health care a right or a privilege? It's not a right, but the laws of love demand that we support individual physicality whilst they are actively gaining the consciousness of Oneness. Now how about a discussion of importance of applied spirituality with respect to health care and the sovereign ability of an individual to respond to Life and create their own reality.

Soothing Someone Back into Well Being

Good Morning Everyone,

Recently I heard the best story. It involves friends of mine in Descanso. Jack is involved with Parkinson's. When I lived in Descanso, I used to go over to Jack and Doreen's because I just loved them as people and I would do energy work on both of them. Those times with them were amazing and fun. As the symptoms of Parkinson's progressed in Jack, Doreen moved with elegance to assist and care for him, as she still does.

Doreen is the portrait of True Love. She and Jack are entirely devoted to each other. They came to the US from Scotland back in the 60's. Jack's trade was that he was a glass man. So they started their own window and stained glass company, which is now run by their eldest daughter.

Jack is the quintessential Scot; he plays the bagpipes and has read every Scottish author and poet, and can quote them all. Together they are simply a joy to be around. As a couple they love and respect each other fundamentally. Even in this difficult circumstance, I have never heard them utter a disparaging word or use an insulting tone. It just isn't in their awareness, so replete is their joy in each other.

As time as gone on, Jack's ability to move about and communicate has become severely hampered. Doreen literally lifts him from his bed and moves him to place to place. And only she can understand his communications at this point, so in tune are they with each other.

Recently in Southern California the temperatures have topped 100 degrees over many days with crippling humidity.

The neighborhood guys got an idea. Once a week these fellows gather at Jack and Doreen's house to play snooker, although Jack can't play anymore, they have continued to come and have their weekly game including Jack in their fun.

Well, seems Tom, a neighbor, got the idea that if they all helped, they could take Jack on a field trip to his house where he has a swimming pool. This was executed last week.

The guys came and got Jack and they all trooped over to Tom's house where they had a pool party. Jack, included. They got Jack into the swimming pool, where for 2 uninterrupted hours, Jack was in heaven, diverted from the constancy of the Parkinson's.

He floated and wiggled and felt his body weightless and cool - almost free. For two hours, Jack was back in Well Being, diverted from his usual focus - the prison of his body.

According to all reports, a magical time was had by all.

The greatest gift we can give anyone who is focused on something "unwanted" is to soothe them back into Well Being. These guys, his friends and neighbors, and fellow Light Beings did just that.
When someone can be diverted from what is (unwanted) and soothed back into Oneness, that vibration goes out into the Universe and is answered. What is more is that in this place of Well Being, Jack is allowing his Good to be received. Amen.

Of course I know these guys, and all I can say is that I've never heard of a more wonderful INSPIRATION and just hearing the story put the biggest smile on my face. Well done, indeed, guys. Very, very well done.

Girl's Heart Heals Itself: Of Course

Good Day Everyone!

I love it; I love it; I love it! Proof positive that the body's default position is Well Being and Health.

Meet Hannah Clark and check out her story as published in the Guardian in the UK.

In a world of mesmerization, illusions come and go: the illusion of disease, the illusion of lack, the illusion of loneliness, the illusion of all manner of not well being. They are as many as the human mind can conjure and create. We are creators of our reality, every bit of it.

So in comes Light Being, Hannah Clark who conjures a fatal heart condition. Her True Intention: to show us all that we live in a world of illusion and that we can, in fact, heal ourselves.

Doctors are amazed, some calling it a 'miracle'. But these events, folks, are merely a portent of the consciousness that is growing on planet Earth: the realization of Oneness with God - that we are, indeed, God, Itself, having a physical adventure.

Somehow, Hannah was able to align her human mind with Godmind, closing the gap on the illusion of separation from Source. When that is achieved, the fullness of God is realized on Earth.

It's a journey of consciousness not mind.

When one can raise the human consciousness to realize his/her Truth of Being, God, then all things are added unto him. "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof." - Psalm 24:1

I and my Father are One. John 10:30.

Let us stop trying to think with our limited human minds, but rather achieve the Christed Consciousness - the mind that Jesus, Buddha, Krishna and many other achieved whilst in the body. It is available to everyone. Indeed, our individual Godchip is already living that Reality right now. All that we need do is align our human consciousness with It.

Then, these 'miracles' will be what we expect - Well Being, Harmony, Health, Prosperity - the fullness of God, which we already are.

The Independent Life of Woody The Cat

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes I'm casting about for a topic, and then I realize I'm staring one right in the face. Our pets.

Some of the most amazing and illuminating moments of our lives are brought about by virtue of our pets. You see, often times where we cannot open our hearts to other humanoids, we can open our hearts to animals.

We won't debate here whether or not pets have "souls". I'll just state for the record that they definitely do. Although probably not in the sense that we think about it; but the Native Americans knew and still do, that the animal kingdom is part of God and that they serve us, well - if we are but listening and paying attention.

Which brings me to Woody the Cat, my pet. Woody has been with me since he was weened. His birthday is July 4, 2005. At the time Woody came to live with me, I was just moving into my newly built home in Descanso, Ca. The property was bordered on the rear by the Cleveland National Forrest and overlooked the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. In short, he came to live in a place where few cats live beyond their first year. Amongst the "dangers" are mountain lions, coyotes, rattle snakes, bobcats and owls to name a few.

However, at every stage of his growing up, he had to be a cat. He would whine to go outside, to stay outside and be FREE!

Of course this set up a giant war within my human mind. What if? How can I? I have to protect him!

Alas, all my mental explantions to Woody the Cat about how I wanted him to be safe made nary a dent on his natural self - a cat. Clearly, it was I that would have to grow in consciousness in order to be able to give him the life he deserved. I had to learn to "let go" and know that he was in Well Being, with his own internal guidance, and above all - that his life was his own, not mine.

Woody and I have had many adventures. Well, it's more accurate to say that I've had many adventures because of his being Woody the Cat.

There was, of course, not one, but three encounters with rattle snakes. He likes to play with them. The time he got himself treed in my neighbors encampment with 13 Jack Russell terriers. And most recently, here in Ohio where he has become quite the ambassador of Good Will, greeting all the neighbors in their comings and goings. One night he got himself locked up in someone's garage.

At every Woody adventure, even when he's "overdue" to be home, his presence in my life serves to remind me to Trust. All is well. And his life is remarkably, his own.

The truth is, because I love him so much, I want him to have his own life. To do that, I have to grow in unconditional Love.

God bless our pets, who teach us such a concept.

Swine Flu: Trust Your Body and Consciously Refocus

Good Morning Everyone!

I'd like to give you an New View on the latest fearful topic: swine flu.

Let's talk about life and all the subjects in life like a buffet. The biggest buffet table in the world. It has every subject on it possible. Everything gets to be here.

As you scan the buffet table for things to "eat", your eyes notice many things you don't like: liver, brocoli, lima beans, tapioca, fill in here what you don't like.
Now, do you stand there dwelling on that spinach and how much you hate it? Of course not. Your eyes notice it, and they keep moving until they find something that looks delicious and appealing, right?

Same thing with all the subjects in the world. Just because the news puts it in front of you, doesn't mean you have to internalize it. Doesn't even mean you have to believe it. You can note it; thanks for sharing, and keep moving your focus to something that pleases you. You have the free will to do that.

So technique number one is to refocus yourself onto a subject that gives you pleasure and joy - makes you feel Good. What might that be? Well, what makes you happy? Playing with your dog, or noticing what's growing outside, or an idea you're working on, or music, or dance, or....come on, you can do it. Find your bliss.

Technique number two is remembering how strong and resilient your body already is. Think back on how many cuts, scrapes, bruises, breaks, flu, colds, and other dis-eases you have already recovered from, because your body is connected to Infinite Intelligence and knows that its default position is Well. Prove it to yourself, restore your own faith in your own body.

Technique number three is to support your body in its wellness. Wash your hands. While you are washing your hands, play. Have fun with it. Take a three minute mini-spa break for this. Smell the lovely soap, enjoy the warmth of the water, spend that time mentally (internally) feeling and enjoying the deliciousness of these few moments of pleasure and a break from whatever it was you were doing. Take these moments to envision a new adventure, a new joy, something lovely.

Technique number four is to enjoy and appreciate the lovely, nourishing foods that you have to eat that supply the nutrition that your body uses to create a strong immune system. Notice and appreciate the colors, textures and taste of these miraculous foods, and appreciate that your body knows exactly what to do with these nutrients for a strong and healthy body.

Technique number five is to consider other epidemics and that more people stayed well than did not. Focus on that. The Wellness.

Technique number six is to constantly refocus yourself back into alignment with Well Being. When you notice your thoughts drifting off into fear, worry and doubt - put that puppy back on the paper of Well Being, deliberately and consciously. Take responsibility for where you are focusing your Life Force, and consciously change your own channel.

The Law of Attraction says that what you focus on will get bigger and bigger until it finally manifests into your reality. Pay attention to what you are focusing on, and find the Good Stuff and stay there.

There is so much more Well Being than not; find it and appreciate all that Good. Much like you'd find that chocolate cake on the buffet table and participate in enjoying that.

Thanks for reading!

What Is Stress?

Good Day Everyone!

After all the news today about the economy, I thought I might talk about stress as a timely issue.
Then this evening I saw this article about how stress in the work place can do nasty things for you.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080123/hl_nm/heart_stress_dc

Stress is when we tense up. We hold our breath. We resist what we are seeing, hearing, perceiving. I think Jesus taught us to "resist not" evil? Hmmm

The key factor here is our internal response. It is always a fear response. We name it many things: overwhelm, panic, worry, indecision, but it is always a fear. We do this instantaneously as an automatic response to our operating beliefs. (I think Jesus also said, "Fear Not"?)

We believe we cannot rise to the situation. We may believe that there is not enough: time, money, love, opportunity, or we are not enough. We may believe that what we are seeing or hearing is "bad" news. The doctor delivers a diagnosis. The judge returns a verdict. The boss delivers a deadline or ultimatum. The bank account says we can't afford it. You child's teacher calls. You child doesn't call. Ad infinitum.

Obviously the work place is not the only place we have experiences that we respond to with stress: again, tensing up, shallow breathing, resistance, as a result of a fearful, lackful response. It happens to us many times within a day.

When I was in Hawaii learning Huna, the Ancient Hawaiian Religion, I was told this story:

When the first explorers found the Hawaiian Islands, they didn't know where they were geographically. That is to say, they had no idea the name of these islands. So they went from island to island asking this question of the natives, "Where do you live?" The native Hawaiians all responded with the same answer, "Hawaii". So the explorers assumed that the name of the islands was Hawaii. However, the Hawaiin language is an encoded language. Each syllable means an entire phrase. What the Hawaiians were really saying was, "I live on the Life Force that is carried on my breath." "Ha" meaning breath. So it follows that when the white man established himself on the Hawaiian Island, they became known to the natives as "hale", which means, "he without breath". Even back then, we weren't breathing much.

You see the Hawaiians performed deep "haka" breathing before they did anything. They breathed before play, before fishing, before making love. If you have every watched rugby, you can see a form of haka breathing done by the New Zealand rugby team, the All Blacks. It's amazing. (www.allblacks.com). The Hawaiians could so summon their Life Force that they could flow the tides. (I have seen it done.)

Now depending on who you talk to, they are raising their adrenalin levels, they are focusing their energy, they are getting centered. And all would be correct. This is where applied spirituality is literally demonstrated. They are deliberately focusing their Life Force. By breathing IN and opening their internal state, they laser focus their Spirit, their Energy, their Godchips. The All Blacks win a lot.

The point is that they breathe, they do not stop breathing. The relax, not tense up. They do all this deliberately.

A tensing reaction to anything causes you to shallow your breathing. This restricts the flow of Life Force, the vital energies that define you as alive. Like in any situation of "restriction," friction is the result, and when friction takes place, heat is created (oxidation) and inflammation results. This is why we are being told the benefits of antioxidants, to counteract the damage of free radicals which is sort of like rust, the free radicals are the result of all this tensing up. All this, because we are automatically afraid because we believe we are not enough, not able to meet the demand. We believe, we are alone and separated from our Good.

During the past 6 years Americans have been fed a steady diet of fear via the medial and news makers. We are now told many times a day all the things we have to be afraid of: terrorism, oil shortages, the economy; global warming, even my stupid weather alerts are of a tone that makes me think I should have put in a storm cellar. We are always on red alert for something. The food we eat. The people we date. The air we breathe. The love we have or don't have. Ahoogah! Dive! Dive!

What to do?

Breathe.

Why breathe? Because as the ancient Hawaiians knew, we LIVE on the Life Force that's carried on our breath. This is the vehicle that carries us back Home to Well Being (our natural state) when we've stepped out of the flow of Life.

The news makers and tellers would have us believe the ultimate worst at any given time. It's hype. It's the tone. It's dire. It's only to sell today's paper. Tomorrow it will be something else.

Haven't we learned by now that "this too shall pass"? The idea is to not get "hooked" on it as it's passing. I used to do some white water rafting when I lived in Montana. My friend would point out to me huge logs or trees that were downed in the river by beavers (who by the way are always in well being). These were called sweepers. Sweepers hook a lot of debris as it floats down the river and are very dangerous. We were to avoid sweepers at all costs.

Avoid the sweepers. They are logs in the Flow of Life. They are temptations to get pulled off your course of Well Being and into chaos and fear. There are infinite number of sweepers waiting to hook you. Jesus, it is said, spent 40 days in the desert confronting all manner of temptations. This is exactly what this "human mind stuff" is. Just that. Temptation to derail you from your focused path of Well Being , which is joyously creating.

"Look over here, here's a problem". When you refocus onto "that problem" you are no longer focusing on your creation. And sorry folks, we are single focus beings, despite what they tell you about multi-tasking. If we truly want to create, we need to be in the Zone with pure positive focus.

Ok. So back to your ordinary day. You have a plan. You have a focus. And then - TEMPTATION STRIKES. A troubling story, a bad boss, a lousy thought. You could go there, which most of us do, and do the whole "stress" response.

Or - you could say to yourself, "That feels rotten. I'm going to breathe. I'm refocusing on what I chose to focus on, and that which makes me feel good." It's free will. That's where it's practiced; right in that very moment. Right Now.

You can choose "human mind" fearful, lackful, distracting thoughts - or - you can breathe IN, connect to your Godchip and get back to creating.....or co-creating...

Practice. Practice. Practice.

It takes being aware of how you are feeling at any given moment. This is self mastery.
This is, simply put, what Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, and Mohammad achieved while in the body, and so can you, as well.

You'll feel better. You'll function better. You'll enjoy the day more. And best of all, you'll be creating your own reality and good health as well. Happiness is your birthright. Wellness is your natural state. The only thing separating you from all your Good (that being a noun) is your choice to be sidetracked by the temptation out of well being.

Iraq Is in JOY

Good Day Everyone!

I am coming to love Yahoo News every day. They actually print happy news. Today they were covering Iraq's soccer win over Saudi Arabia.

Why do I think this is news worthy? Because every one's natural state is joyful well being. And if any people have had cause to ask, ask, ask for joy, it is the Iraqi people. And here is their soccer team showing them how to refocus on something that gives them joy. Bless sports. Bless Well Being and Bless this mechanism of the human being who has the choice to focus where it will.

“This is the happiest moment,” said Ali Hassan, 52, a Baghdad fan dancing in Paradise Square “The Iraqi people are thirsty to have moments of enjoyment.”

These days following the victory of their soccer team will give the people of Iraq time to focus on something that gives them joy. In these days of focus on something fun and good, their collective good is flowing into them.

In a companion piece (see link)http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070730/ts_nm/iraq_dc
The Iraqi Parliament has gone into summer recess. Well, good for them. If you're stuck then you need to back off, go play and get a new perspective with fresh ideas in order to plow on.

What I really love is to see Iraq expressing it's innate well being. It even may be in juxtaposition to what others might want them to do, but what I feel is a new life coming into them with its own momentum, direction, solutions and joy. We are all connected to that same Source.

Iraq will find its way, uniquely theirs. Like each of us, one step at a time, one day at a time, whilst reaching for feeling better and better, it will come to them faster and faster.

Be Well Iraq. Find a way to live in joy for all of you, and drop the labels. See each other as fellow countrymen with room and plenty for all. I, for one, am wishing you all pure joy.

Focus

Good Day All!

The entire question is where will you FOCUS your Life Force today? That is your ultimate freedom and choice, I think it's called Free Will. You always get to choose. So, let's talk about your choices.

In 1946 Victor Frankel wrote Man's Search for Meaning. He writes about his years in German concentration camps as a prisoner. Now tell me how bad you have it....In those circumstances Frankel came to profoundly understand that he still had complete sovereignty over what he focused on. He was the master of his own focus, his thoughts. He had become a "selective sifter". Amid what can only be partially imagined at best, he found a way to focus his Life Force and be well.
Somewhere in the Bible I believe it is said (paraphrased) if you make you bed in hell, I'll be there too. It is always with You, because It is You. It is not out there somewhere else. It is, at last, where It has always been within. That Still Small Voice, your very own God-chip. Your Geiger counter, your Pole Star, yourSelf.

Wendell Berry wrote:

The Peace of Wild Things

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

The operative word: free. He chose his focus, he finds his freedom. He finds that Peace that passes human understanding. He practices - applies his spirituality. Applied Spirituality.

The wild things have no human mind to argue them out of well being. Today, notice your pet. Notice a tree. Contemplate their perfect state of well being. The only difference is they know nothing of "other", nothing of "evil", nothing of "human mind", "logic". They know only their perfect and complete well being. You have the ability to be in well being, as well. To choose your focus, to find the God (good) in all things, to see nothing outside of It.

Try it. For a day, then perhaps a week. Put that puppy back on the paper of well being every time you notice it trying to find anything other than Good.....you can do it!

Thanks for reading! k
