Election 2008: The Consciousness Vote

Hello Everyone,

I'm going to depart from my practical "Well Being" messages today and talk about the election.

I imagine that for most of you, you've been pretty much bombarded with campaign rhetoric via television, radio, and other media. I don't have television, so I've pretty much missed all the muck-raking. However, this week I was at a friend's house and saw two ads, one for each candidate and that reminded me of what I have been "missing". Also this week I turned on the radio. Don't ask me why, but I did and, of course, heard a few ads there.

For the most part I have tried to remain neutral and weigh up the candidates and the issues on our American table.

This week it occurred to me that this race is all about consciousness. Entirely.

Well, I suppose every race has been about consciousness, but never quite like this. In 1968 we were in the midst of a great consciousness shift in America. At that time I think I can speak for everyone who was of age during that time; most of us experienced it as chaos and couldn't quite figure out what the heck was going on.

We are in another consciousness shift, now. America is in the middle of a consciousness shift. It is the process of conscious evolution. Now what the heck does that mean?

Consciousness includes a lot of ideas: awareness of your environment, yourself, and especially, God consciousness or Source awareness in your everyday human thinking and life application.

What is happening in this consciousness shift is the evolution of mankind, in consciousness, into a higher level of consciousness - including more Source (God) into your human-mind thinking. This is huge. It is "scheduled". It is supported by Source, or all of heaven and the Universe, however you would like to think of it. We are in the Cosmic Tractor Beam and we are being raised up into Light and Life, or the Christed Consciousness. This is understood to be the realization of Oneness with no separation from Source. Christed Consciousness is that Oneness with Source. It is not a person. It is that consciousness that Jesus achieved (as well as others), while in the physical body. Guess what? We are doing it, now.

In short, we are being called to become spiritually mature. This is hard work for humans who have been in limited human-mind thinking for a very, very long time. And, some of us are kicking and screaming the whole way.

New ideas and new thoughts posed are scary to the status quo. What has always been the way, is up for review and improvement with "new" thinking.

When I speak about "new thinking", I am speaking about Inspired Thoughts and Ideas with more God (Source) included in the thought. These are the inspirations that come in response to asking for inspiration and guidance. We ask because our experience in the physical is less than what we want. And when we ask, isn't it because we want things to change? And when change comes, why are we so afraid to move and grow?

This Election 2008 is all about the evolution of human consciousness into our Realization of Oneness. I just don't think I've ever seen it so clearly before.

Senator McCain is a lovely man, who has served his nation for a long time. I admire him and his contributions to the planet and to America. Senator McCain also represents the old thought, the stepping stones and launch pad from which we can and will create anew. There is nothing about Senator McCain that I would attack, belittle or malign, because he has always been doing his very best to serve his country and people. I honor him and thank him profoundly for his beingness.

Senator Obama is a lovely man as well, who has been serving his country and people for a shorter time. However, Senator Obama embraces the new thought and is more expansive. Senator Obama represents a bridge from the old thought to the new. He, too, is a sincere man. Actually, I think it is quite wonderful to have the choice in this election between two honorable men. However, the consciousness of Senator Obama incorporates more expanded Source thought, that includes rather than excludes. He is centered and seems to have a limitless capacity to be even tempered, unafraid of input and ideas, and willing to explore possibilities. To me this is the quality that America requires for her rebirth and Renaissance.

This is a consciousness revolution, folks. The only way to know is to feel your way though it, not listen to worldly issue debates, which degenerate into pettiness. Both men are of excellent character with honorable and good intentions. The question is: which will lead us forward, include our inspired ideas, and help us to reform this great experiment in freedom that we call America.

My vote, which was mailed in a week ago, was for Senator Obama. And I am eternally grateful for each and every person and step that has brought us all to this now moment where we get to choose, once again. Wow. We get to choose.

Genesis 19:26 (New International Version)

26 But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

Luke 17:31-33 (New International Version)

31On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32Remember Lot's wife! 33Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.

Let's look forward and upward; let go of the past and get on with creating anew in Oneness.

American Ingenuity

Good Day Everyone!

Thinking about things lately has caused me to be grateful for 4 years of Latin. I went to public schools in Ohio and Pennsylvania where Latin was offered. I had two great teachers who really made translating Vigil, Pliny, and Caesar's Commentaries fun and very enlightening.

Today I use Latin principally for getting the original meaning of a word. If you aren't familiar with ancient Latin or Greek, it is improbable that you know how far afield our modern day words and our common meaning that we associate with them have strayed from the origin of the word.

Take the word ingenuity for example. According to Dictionary.com ingenuity is:
1.the quality of being cleverly inventive or resourceful; inventiveness: a designer of great ingenuity.
2.cleverness or skillfulness of conception or design: a device of great ingenuity.
3.an ingenious contrivance or device.

Miriam-Webster.com is quite similar:
2 a: skill or cleverness in devising or combining; b: cleverness or aptness of design or contrivance3: an ingenious device or contrivance

But check out the entomology of the word: ingenium from the Latin. The root words for ingenium are 'in' meaning within and genus which is birth. So the original word means
'innate' or 'inborn'. http://arts.cuhk.edu.hk/Lexis/Latin/

So what is innate or inborn? Our creativity. Our capacity for ingeniusness. And where does it come from? Our Godchip. Our direct link to the Infinite Possibilities.

Years ago a friend said, "You have to ask the right question." Truly.

When you look again at the word ingenuity, our current definitions imply with the word an invention - a thing, a contraption that we made or invented. But the origin of the word implies that it is not a thing but rather an inborn talent to create.

So let me, right here and right now, say that American Ingenuity is our innate ability to be creative. Our inborn capacity to seek out a new solution that has never been seen on planet earth by first desiring something (usually our freedom) from some perceived constraint and then our natural, inborn ability to allow that solution to come to us as first and idea, and then a thing if that is required.

American Ingenuity is a term I grew up with. We always had a way to make things better.
We knew we could; we did. There was nothing facing us that we couldn't create our way out of and towards a better way.

Thinking about our famous American Ingenuity, I began to wonder why we had gotten ourselves into such a fix with respect to oil. I can't think of anything that Americans hate more than feeling we have no options. There is always a way. Always.

So I started rummaging around online and saw a few signs of our great inventive and creative natures. For starters: go to http://www.convert-water2gas.com/ and find out how to use the electricity from your car's battery to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen. For a very modest price and a little "ingenuity" you can add this to your car and laugh as you pass up the gas pump. http://www.run-a-car-on-water.com/ This site compares and contrasts different conversion kits.

Of course creativity is not limited to just Americans. They are rolling an air car off the assembly line in India. http://zeropollutionmotors.us/?page_id=46 Where are you GM, Ford and Chrysler?

The point to this little excursion into ingenuity with respect to cars and oil is that our ability to create solutions is infinite and above all inborn with each of us.

It's the Godchip in each an every one of us that has the answer. You with your free will must apply your focus to ask 'how can I?' rather than spending your energies fighting against what is. Turning your focus towards what is wanted is the first step and then staying that focus with free will discipline on the creativity; allowing IT in as IT guides you towards your answer.

The fun is watching it unfold, like in a treasure hunt. Each day something comes in because you have asked and now Law of Attraction can bring it to you as you allow and are looking for the stepping stones.

American Ingenuity has been sleeping. We have been lost in fear of this and fear of that. Every time you allow 'what is' to occupy your thoughts, what ''might be' is delayed and postponed.
And, someone else, who is actively pursuing the "how can I" mode is allowing in the solutions.

Come on America! Turn off that blinkin' TV and get busy creating the Nation we envision.

Now what if...

Common Sense

"A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom." - Thomas Paine

"In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit. Something is happening in America and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap."
REPRESENTATIVE JOHN LEWIS, referring to growing support for Barack Obama.

Good Morning Everyone!

A magical thing happened yesterday here in Descanso, with only 20% chance of showers forecast, we ended up having the most wonderful snow storm! Yep. Nearly 4" of snow on the ground, much needed moisture in the form of gentle snow, and best of all, a snow day!

Magical things are happening in America, too. John Lewis is quoted above as he, too, notes that sense of movement and spirit amongst the American people. He is referring to growing support for Barack Obama, I refer to the movement, itself.

In recent days the notion of Common Sense has returned to me over and over. So I did a bit of research and read portions of Tomas Paine's, Common Sense published in 1776. His words are in recommendation for a revolution from England as ruler. His words make great common sense, but the movement is what is important to note here as well.

Mr. Paine reveals the reaching for expansion of the American Spirit. Time to throw off the shackles of a superior (England) that would dictate our future and let us become self-determining. His words reflect a shift in consciousness towards more liberty, more freedom, more joy in the reclaiming of our right to create our own future.

With a few alterations to Mr. Paine's text, that "movement of spirit" that Mr. Lewis is referring to is also about the American people's reaching and expansion for more liberty, more freedom and more joy in the re-claiming of our right to create our own future in 2008 and beyond.

Freedom from what? Who has been creating our future? What is the need or urging to take that leap and reclaim what? Our own thoughts, our own minds, our own self-will.

There is the reawakening from a deep slumber of the American people who have let, allowed, and relinquished their thoughts to government, policy makers and the press. For quite some time now we have let 'them' to tell us what we want, what we need, how we feel, how to feel, what's best for us, the state of the nation, the state of the world, and the state of the economy. We have allowed this as simple children. We have willingly relinquished to 'them" ( and there are all manner of 'them' - doctors, scientists, politicians, educators, government, etc.) our innate, inborn authority, knowing and wisdom.

It has only been by the sharp contrasts of the last 7 years and continuing early into this new year of 2008 of continuing gloom and doom, that we are finally able to reach for something that feels much better - taking back our own voices and the willingness to determine our own future once again. Thank you very much!

Mr. Lewis "feels" the stirring amongst the people. "They" don't know any better than we do.
If "they" can cause us to feel so helpless, so scared, so disempowered, then we shall take the lead and return us to our state of joy and all possibility.

When I was growing up the term "American Ingenuity" was a staple. We could do anything when we put our minds to it. We could solve any problem, create any new invention that we might need, we were a hopeful, happy, resourceful and positive people. Over a long period of years, we have become gloomy, pessimistic, fretful, scared, and willing to give over our power to anyone who takes the podium who promises to "make it all go away" or "will keep us safe."

Our love of life and joyous existence has been too stiff a price to pay for "safety". And safety is an illusion when we are kept in a constant state of fear or anxiety. Perhaps not consciously, but intuitively, the American people are moving towards that freedom from .....FEAR.

Keep the people in enough fear, long enough, and they will eventually say, "Damn the fear, I am sick of it. I want joy." Americans are at long last loosing faith in "them". Thank God. The result is a reassumption of their own knowledge, their own wisdom, and their own ability to choose, for ourselves, what direction we desire, what we want to be as a people. We want to be happy again! We want to face our challenges with optimism and a faith in ourselves.

It is only Common Sense raising it's Spirit, at last, and of course. For the Common Sense of each of us is that Godchip within every being. That Godchip that reaches always for joy, for love, for creating and expanding in delight. The human mind can dominate the Godchip for only so long, and then the great ISING of Spirit bubbles up inexorably and demands satisfaction.

We can. We can have a strong economy. We can have prosperity and abundance. We can have peace. We can determine what is best for us and include love in the equation. We can, yes we can. There is nothing that we cannot be, do or have when we focus that Spirit - that Godchip - and align with "It is done."

Good on you, Mr. Lewis for noticing the shifting sands amongst the American People. It is this shift that the pollsters do not count, the politicans cannot feel, and the government is blind to. But it IS.

I saw a bumper sticker just the other day that read, "If the people lead, the leaders will follow." It's an exciting time to watch as John and Jane Doe awaken to their own Leadership within - a Leadership that points to love, that demands creating, that insists on joy, inclusion and infinite possibilities. Oh, indeed, yes we CAN.

The Renaissance

Hello Everyone,

What an amazing time to be alive! There are profound shifts happening in America, shifts many of us have been waiting to see for 40 years. The John and Jane Doe's are awakening. What does this mean? It means that individuals in vast numbers are feeling the Life stirring within them and taking back the power and authority unto themselves.

At the peak of the Dark Ages they have found that they are sicker than ever before. Following the dictates of science and chemistry has landed them in illnesses by the droves. Diabetes, autoimmune diseases, cancer, heart disease, ad nauseum. And one by one they are disillusioned by the protocols that are dispensed. They are not made well, but rather land on a merry-go-round of more drugs, more appointments, more symptoms and counter symptoms until, at last, they are disgusted, frustrated and asking for the first time, the right questions: how can I get off this ride?

In the educational sector things have gotten progressively so disagreeable to students, teachers, administrators and tax payers alike, that at last, the same question is finally being asked: how can we change this for the better?

Economically we have stretched the rubber band so far that now millions upon millions of Americans are asking the question: how can I get off their merry-go-round, have a financially abundant life AND time to enjoy it. Sick and tired of huge mortgages, low wages, two incomes and large debt. Tired of being enslaved and not enjoying Life itself, John and Jane Doe are seeking their financial freedom independent of government and corporations. Finally they are asking the question, "How can we?"

Nutritionally there is a new and rapidly growing demand for whole, healthy foods. People even in the heartlands where industrial agriculture is well entrenched are finding the local Farmer's Markets in greater demand than the supply can allow, thus showing a new economic opportunity for small farms to raise whole, healthy organically produced foods, meats, poultry, etc.

They can dip and dive and loop de loop all they want to on Wall Street and in their political polls, but they have never captured the spirit of John and Jane Doe when making their projections. Frank Capra in all his movies pointed to this illusive thing: the human spirit. It is Alive; it is Divine. It is that in each and every one of us that keeps moving upward, outward and expanding to find the sunshine, the Real, the True and the Goodness just like a weed will grow right on through the asphalt to find the sunshine and bloom.

It's happening right now in America, at last. John and Jane Doe are beginning to hear the Common Sense of their own Godchip. John and Jane Doe are beginning to follow the desires expressed in their hearts. But most importantly, John and Jane Doe are beginning to realize that they are the authority, they are the Spirit, they CAN.

I wouldn't have missed this for anything. Can you feel it, too?

Sound Energy

Good Morning All!

I continue taking my classes with Dream Team. A bargain at twice the price!

Gino was talking last night about how our thoughts are carried on and perpetuated for generations to manifest after us. For example: DaVinci dreamed of flying machines. He drew pictures of them, and surely talked about them to anyone who might listen. A wonder they didn't lock him up in a nice soft cell. And then the Wright Brothers picked up the thread of thought and ran with it. Today we are looking at commercial flights into space. That is exciting to me. I hope to do that one day.

My grandmother, who I grew up with in our home, was born in 1900. She moved over to the other side at 91. I have many times imagined what changes she witnessed in that century. From no automobiles to walking on the moon, computers, etc. She seemed to take it all in good stride, I might add.

For me I have a dream, a thought that persists. I dream of sound energy being used as fuel. I tried Googling the idea with not much luck. I am wondering if anyone out there knows of anyone anywhere that is doing research on this. With the increased focus on high petroleum costs and now, finally, a refocus to alternative fuels, wouldn't it be wonderful to find something that had no pollution to it. Although I am given to understand that hydrogen fuel has no by products.

When I was a child I recall the phrase, "good old American ingenuity". What ever happened to that? Why would we ever tolerate being held hostage for fuel? The greed factor? Complacency?
Whatever it has been, we have to get over it and get on with creating our own reality now. It involves asking the question, which we have, and then allowing the Infinite Intelligence to answer it.

We must ask the right questions, as well. When we are focused only on what we know already, we exclude the infinite possibilities. John Kennedy proposed that we fly to the moon at a time when we simply didn't have the technology to do such a thing. He had a dream, a vision. As Gino would say, A Definite Target. Then with a year to spare, in 9 years we did so. His vision sparked a whole lot of questions, and they were answered, one step at a time.

I am throwing out my dream to all of us: What about sound as a viable, clean energy that is cheap and available anywhere? Let's re-Connect with Infinite Intelligence with our Good Old American Ingenuity and for the good of all - developing companies included - find that New Way through a new View. Let's Apply our Spirituality, hook it up and allow the way to be shown.

Come on, America! There's absolutely nothing we can't do. But we gotta let go of the past.
